About The Founder
I believe a great leader is never just a better manager.
The capacity to stay clear under pressure, to hold the demands of the work and the needs of the people at the same time, does not stay at the office. A leader who builds this capacity shows up differently in three places at once: in the organization they lead, in the community they are part of, and in the family they come home to.
That’s why this work matters to me. I’m not developing a single skill for a single role; I’m helping leaders build their capacity to lead and creates impact everywhere.
When one leader changes how they operate, the people around them feel the positive impacts. Those impacted then learn how to lead themselves…and the chain reaction continues.
I spent 20 years as a Naval Aviator, including 18 years flying the F/A-18 Super Hornet, where leading well under pressure was not a metaphor. After my time in service I served as the CEO of a SaaS startup focused on employee engagement, where I sat in the seat my clients sit in now: accountable for the numbers and for the people producing them, at the same time, with no easy way to choose between them.
I earned a BA from Washington & Jefferson College, an MBA from the University of North Carolina, and an Executive Leadership Coaching certificate from Georgetown University's School of Continuing Studies.
